Where is Sundsvall?
Sundsvall is approx. 380km north of Stockholm. The best way to travel to Sundsvall is by train via Stockholm, or flight via Arlanda airport or Bromma airport. The train traveling from Stockholm also stops at Arlanda Airport.

Where will training be?
Åkersviksskolan, Hovrättsgatan 2, 852 37 Sundsvall. The training facility is located right across the road from Sundsvall Västra train station.

On Saturday, October 4th what time will training start?
13:00. We are on a tight schedule so training will start at 13:00 sharp. Come early if you can.
Can I fly to Stockholm on Saturday and still arrive in Sundsvall in time for training?
Yes. There is a train (SJ tåg 564) departing Stockholm at 08:22. It stops at Arlanda Airport at 08:41 and
arrives at Sundsvall train station at 11:57.

If you connect at Bromma Airport there is Sundsvallsflyg flight DC725 departing Bromma at 10:05
arriving at Sundsvall Midlanda Airport at 11:00.

If I want to go to Sundsvall on Friday evening how should I go?
Friday evening, the last convenient train to Sundsvall from Stockholm and Arlanda is (SJ tåg 584).
It departs Stockholm at 18:22, stops at Arlanda Airport at 18:41, and arrives at Sundsvall train station at 22:00.
There are a couple of trains arriving later than 22:00 but the 22:00 train is the last easy, direct train that
arrives at a reasonable time.
There is a flight with SAS (SK060) departing Arlanda at 21:00 arriving at Sundsvall Midlanda Airport at 21:50,
as well as flight DC729 departing Bromma Airport at 19:55 arriving at Sundsvall Midlanda Airport at 20:50.
What time will training end on Sunday?
Can I train on Sunday and still travel home on Sunday?
Yes. There is a train (SJ tåg 583) departing Sundsvall at 16:03. It stops at Arlanda Airport at 19:17 and
reaches Stockholm train station at 19:38. Other options are SAS flight SK051 departing Sundsvall Midlanda
Airport at 18:00 arriving at Arlanda 19:05, Sundsvallsflyg flight DC728 departing Sundsvall Midlanda
Airport at 17:30 arriving at Bromma airport 18:25. There is also a bus (Y-buss 9910) departing Sundsvall
central train station at 17:30 arriving at Stockholm city terminal 21:00.
Can I fly to Sundsvall from overseas?
Sundsvall Midlanda is our airport but this is a domestic airport. If you’re coming from outside Sweden,
we recommend flying to Stockholm’s airport (Arlanda) and taking the train, or connect with domestic flights.
What hotels do you recommend?
There are several good hotels within walking distance of the central train station and the traning facility.

Can I stay at Sundsvall Bujinkan Dojo for free?
Yes. The first 25 people who request, can stay at our dojo for free. To reserve your place at the dojo, please
email me (Petter Swedin) at < firstname.lastname@example.org >. Then register for the Taikai. If you are not registered
for the Taikai, your reservation to stay at the dojo will be cancelled.

We also have a Sweden Taikai 2014 Facebook page but that page is not for registration. You must email the
above information and pay in advance to register.
The taikai fee is 1000 SEK. (750 SEK for members of the Swedish Bujinkan Federation). Full payment is due
by September 12th 2014. Late payments will be charged an additional fee of SEK300.
Organizing a taikai like this is a lot of work. Please help us by registering early. We look forward to another
opportunity to train with Sveneric Bogsäter, Rob Renner and Steve Olsen.
We also strongly recommend to book travel and accomodation early! Prices tend to rise closer to travel dates.
